The role requires a senior HR professional with extensive generalist experience who will report directly into the Chief Financial officer and liaise with the executive team.
The role holder will have sole responsibility for HR and will define the overall strategy of the HR department, influence change and drive performance through people and will also be required to roll their sleeves up and deliver the day to day HR function.
To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate that they can act as a credible and trusted partner to the business, displaying integrity and professionalism and taking personal accountability for results. They will be used to taking ownership of complex problems and decisions and responding to them with a positive outlook.
Proactive and forward thinking, the role-holder will readily seek out better ways to deliver additional value to the business through HR solutions. They will be able to determine and deliver HR process needs in line with business objectives, having a sound commercial understanding of the business and markets ensuring that the wider business and commercial issues are addressed in applying a HR solution. In particular, the role holder will be able to demonstrate their strong commercial awareness and understanding of the business to key stakeholders.
You will be educated to degree level and CIPD (or equivalent) qualified and have a proven track record in a small financial service environment.
